Sun City Stars Shine! September is Attendance Awareness Month and we have celebrations planned for each Friday. We are looking for students to be here everyday from bell to bell. Students with 100% attendance for the week will be celebrated each Friday. Thank you parents for helping us make our weekly attendance goal!

Join us for South Bossier Spirit Night – A Salute to America’s Heroes on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025!
📍 PHS Stadium gates open at 5:30 PM | Spirit Night begins at 6:00 PM
🎶 Parade of Schools at 6:15 (all military & veterans are invited to walk!)
🍔 Food trucks will be on site—come hungry!
🎁 The Spirit Stick will be awarded at the end of the night!
🎟 Admission: A donation to the Northwest LA Veteran’s Home (cash, check, toiletries, socks, blankets, snacks, puzzle books, etc.)
👕 Wear your school colors and let’s show our South Bossier pride while honoring our heroes! ❤️💙
Students can also wear a red or black shirt with uniform bottoms for NO COST to support the Parkway Panthers! They can also wear Sun City colors!
Sun City is kicking off the start of college football with Jeans & Jerseys Day!
Students may wear their favorite team jersey or shirt with uniform bottoms for no cost.👕
Want to wear jeans or shorts? That’s OK too! For $5 (paid through School Cash Online), students can wear jeans/shorts and enjoy a Streetcar Snoball. 👖🍧
Show up for your team! Students who are present every day this week (on time for arrival and dismissal) will earn the chance to wear a hat on Friday. 🧢
