Subject: 🐯 Tiger Trot Fun Run: Help Your Class Win a Popcorn Party!
Dear Families,
It is time to lace up those sneakers! We are so excited for our upcoming Tiger Trot Fun Run, and we need your help to make it a huge success!
This fundraiser is a fantastic way to support our school while encouraging our students to stay active. Plus, there is some friendly competition involved—the Top Collecting Homeroom Class will win a Popcorn Party at an Extra Recess! 🍿☀️
Current Leaderboard Update: It is a close race! Currently, Ms. McKinnon’s class is leading the pack, but Mrs. Cowley’s class is right on their heels, trailing by only $5! Every donation counts and can help "POP-pin" your student’s class to the top of the leaderboard.
How you can help:

UPDATE: Thursday, January 29, 2026
Bossier Schools will remain CLOSED for students and teachers Friday, January 30 out of an abundance of caution due to continued safety concerns on our campuses as a result of the wintry weather.
We cannot risk your children’s return to school until the thick ice accumulation melts or can be removed from awnings, walkways, bus ramps and parking lots.
Our district leaders and 12-month employees will be working Friday to get our schools and centers ready for reopening Monday, February 2, and to de-ice and prepare for another round of frigid temperatures being forecast for the weekend. This is a work day at our schools and centers, and they will not be open for normal operations.
We know this week has been unusual and Bossier Schools greatly appreciates your understanding, support and working with us to make the best of the situation.
